    Question Early Writing

    Hello everyone,

I Just wanted to know, what was Steven King's first three stories that he wrote. I have a friend who thinks Cujo was one of them but I said she was wrong. Can any one tell me?

Not true, even going by first stories/novels he published rather than by when he wrote them. He'd had many short stories published before he got his break with a novel publication. If you go to the main portion of the site (here's the link to the appropriate section), you'll find the list of novels published and if you click on the heading for Date it will sort them chronologically in their order of publication. Cujo was the sixth novel he had published.

    Hi,

In the book Secret Windows (only available on the secondary and s/h market, try Amazon) you'll find 'Jumper' and 'Rush Call', written 1959/60.

Another question for you. I remember a story about cat people that I am pretty sure Steven wrote, but did not see it on the list. Am I wrong that he wrote it?

What came to mind was Sleepwalkers, but that wasn't in book format as Steve wrote it just for the movie production. There may be another, but I'm drawing a blank.

I was thinking Sleepwalkers also. That's the only thing I remember that King wrote regarding "cat people".
