I am really looking forward to the Speaks the Nightbird series (thank you big-big, Ubasti, for your high recommendations!)

Subterranean has just announced that, in addition to The Five and The Hunter from the Woods, they'll be publishing a signed limited edition of Baal this year, with Bethany's Sin, The Night Boat, They Thirst, and Stinger to follow....

I've only read one book by McCammon, Deep South. While it was an interesting story and I truly enjoyed it, I haven't read any of Robert's books since.

After seeing the video of McCammon defending his book, Boy's Life, at a school board meeting I picked it up. I'll be reading it here soon.

    Here's the video. It's family/work safe.

His good guy/bad guy speech is amazing.

Swan Song has more of a 'heart' to it than the Stand does. But, the Stand is more realistic and therefore more terrifying.

Subterranean is now taking pre-orders for the S/L of Baal. It's available in three states; details here.
