I knew a guy who lost an arm and said the phantom arm was very real. As in itching and just going to use it and forgeting it wasnt there. Wasnt the special paintings Edgar did done with the phantom arm? Its been awhile since I read Duma. I seem to remember the normal paintings were done with the real arm. Ironic, dont know, Thats why I never get rid of SK books, for the re-read purposes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Edgar naturally left-handed and considered himself lucky that way? His wife and children were all three right handed however, and was the reason he had his staircase built to accomodate the righty's of the world, instead of for himself.Although he mentions that some things were designed to speciifically accomodate him as a south paw.
