The suggested retail price from Scribner is $35. Amazon.com is listing it for a pre-order guarantee price of $23.10. Barnes & Noble for $26.25 to non-members; $23.62 for members. I didn't bother checking any other retailers after researching those, but that should give you an idea of what to expect.![]()
Very reasonable. Very cheap. Such a small price to pay for such a huge book from such a genious of a writer!
I should buy two right away, and wrap one in plastic. Knowing me, I'll be dragging it around with me, having it fall out of my hands and onto the floor from bed when I fall asleep, I'll try not to get food on it, but probably will as I don't think I'll stop reading while I'm eating. Am I geeking out? YES! OH YES!!
Hi,
Yes, very reasonable indeed, Hodder said £19.99 in the UK, I think.
Long days and pleasant nights
Yes John, it will be £19.99 in UK, you'll probably be able to pick it up for about £10 - £15 though in places like Tesco or Asda (I've notcied that supermarkets tend to sell hardbacks cheaper than other places)
The Collector's Edition will list at $75 (Amazon also has it cheaper), with the 200 copies of the signed Collector's Edition at $200. The latter will only be available from the Simon & Schuster website starting on September 15, and only for US customers.

Just to clarify, the September 15 date is for pre-orders only; the books won't be shipped until November 19th. They will also be providing us with a direct link for pre-ordering the signed limited which will go live on the same day as theirs.
I'm definitely going to pre-order "Under the Dome", although I'm not sure yet if I want to go all out and splurge for the autographed special edition. Hehe.
