OH LOL! I actually play the game. I'm proud to say I'm a kick butt level 80 mage, of course. When I get frustrated with life I go online and kick some horde butt, I'm addicted to PVP.

I just cracked up watching that believe it or not. He's going to run away and never be seen again over a video game. Man, kids just don't know what they have nowadays! I'd say that kid needs to meet Jack Nicholson for some anger management! Gooosh fabra kid, gooosh fabra!!!

This is actually very sad to me. I have seen my nephew throw similar tantrums over not being able to play his XBOX or Playstation. He would ask to play it at least every 30 minutes. It was like his "CRACK" and made me so sad. Everything in moderation, right? My kids rarely get to play video games. I send them outside like my mother always did!

I alpha-tested EverCrack, er, EverQuest and was a "Guide" there for a few years. I knew many of the bigwigs of that Sony offshoot.

I had (and sold [and bought]) Character accounts for (let's say) small amounts of money, but I always earned everything legitimately.

I am not perjuring myself or slandering any company (raking in millions of dollars a month) by saying that parents ought to keep an eye on their kids AND adult children regarding these MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games).

These games (and now it's XBOX or PS3) CAN be dangerous for kids. The content, not so much. The fun potential? Out the roof!

The addiction? Very High.

There are people, "Friends," "Guildmates," that somehow spend 20 hours online ingame. So your child feels the need to grind to keep up with their "real" friends. I'm sure you understand the cascade effect that can happen....

Those games are fun, I know about that. Heroin is supposed to be fun, I don't know about that.

If you made kids, you damn well better know what they are doing.
