I've read everything from Carrie to Just After Sunset (apart from the rare hard to get hold of / not in the shops books) so its time to tackle The Dark Tower!

I shall be opening The Gunslinger this evening. I'm very excited and also worried. Worried because i sincerely hope i enjoy the DT series.

I agree with everyone's post that you do not need luck. (How the heck did you manage to read everything else and avoid DT?) I can practically garantee you'll be a DT junkie after reading them. Just please don't read any threads on here about the Dark Tower books until you finish. You're going to kick yourself for waiting so long!!
