    Default Stephen King Library

I joined the Stephen King Library many years ago because they said they were authentic and would send first editions and that Stephen King okayed them, etc., etc.

Recently I have only received desk calendars from them.

Are they authentic? Do they have the blessing of Mr. King to sell his books?

    Thanks for any information.

The Stephen King Library operated by Book of the Month Club is authorized by Steve. Their releases are book club editions, not first editions, however. One exception is their version of Storm of the Century which they released as a hardcover whereas the mass market version was a paperback. Unfortunately, one of the areas where they have needed improvement for many years is their Customer Service support. We have brought this to their attention many times but the fixes only seem to be temporary.

Customer service seems to always be an issue now days. It's very sad how low the work ethic has dropped over the years. PEOPLE, BE PARENTS, NOT FRIENDS!

Their website - http://www.stephenkinglibrary.com - has been down for several months. If you need to reach them, I'd suggest using the Book-of-the-Month club's main site at http://www.bomcclub.com

(They apparently have failed to abide by Network Solutions' WHOIS policy)
