Uncle ottos truck

Hi all .I was hoping someone could help with information on the truck in the above story. Im guessing it's a 1930-ish truck but the problem is the make. Sai King has it as a Cresswell but I cant find a trace of that make only a picture of a european truck with Cresswell paintwok .Im wonderig if Cresswell is either a bodywork company that converted trucks to purpose or a large companys paint job? If I paint this I want to get it right because I know there are thousands of you out there that will tell me if I get it wrong!

In the copy of Skeleton Crew I have SK wrote a note about this story and said the truck and the house are real. As far as it being a Cresswell I cannot say.
