Exclamation a wall of print stands in my way

I have something of a problem.
I have long avoided reading the Dark Tower series. Nothing personal, it just wasn't my genre. However, some how I was slyly tricked into reading the first book in the series about a month ago.
I have an obsessive mind so with one in a series read I was forced, lest my mind devour me, to complete all seven. I have just gotten to page 813 in th last book. Roland and Susannah have come to where the Tower Road is crossed by Odd's Lane. An elderly man exits the fairy tale cottage and says to the whinny of an unseen horse, "Sure, Lippy, I see em!" the old man cried, turn-.........
That is the last line of page 812. I shift my eyes to the right to begin, or really finish the sentence on 813 and it begins, 'weary. "You cannot kill a creature that has killed itself."
It made no sense. "the old man cried, turn weary. "You cannot kill..."?
Then I looked at the page number. Instead of 813 the page number was 765. I wasn't bothered because I have seen this before. A publisher accidentally prints in previous pages. It usually is only a few and then the book starts back to the page it is suppose to be at. 813.
    Except, not in this book.
The pages go forward in chronological order from the second 765 until page 812 where I began this strange deja vu and then suddenly, instead of page 813, the next page is 861.
    861???
I checked the rest of the book and there is no sign of the missing 48 pages. Now I am not the kind of person who cannot skip around and read different sections in a different order than intended. In truth I have read the last two sections (where we see what was in the top room, no surprise there. It's been foreshadowed since book one. The last being excerpts from a writer's journal.) and also the author's note at the end. (coincidentally I agree. It IS the only way it could have ended.)
    BUT..
Although I can skip around with no worry and easily catch up where ever I turn out, I cannot abide to the fact I cannot even see the part that's missing.
To me, it's like telling a joke but leaving part of it out.
    i.e.;
"A dolphin a squid, and a pirate with a hook for a hand, sit around a card table playing poker. The dolphin is clearly showing the squid and pirate his hands while he cries loudly, squirting tears in all directions. The squids one emotionless eye looks to the pirate who stands up and pulls his..............................................so the squid says, "That's why I only have eight!"
Fact is, whether I would have liked the missing sections or not, I HAVE to know what's in them now. Even if it's just because they are missing.
Well, anyway, that's my problem. Any suggestions?
(ASAP would be nice. I cannot, will not continue reading the book until I find out the content of the missing sections. It will drive me mad otherwise. Always wondering about that missing set of pages.)

That particular section was improperly bound in quite a few copies and the error was not caught before the books were shipped to stores. The retailer where you purchased it should exchange the copy for one with the correct pages.

Calvin Tower would advise you to keep it!
Try to go to a signing with it!

I think Calvin would quote Percy Bysse Shelley and have some fun with it! (Start with need to supply their Gunna, they heard the whinny of the invisible, so instead of using their eyes they used their ears
