Well what did everybody think of 1408?

I too, thought 1408 was excellent! But the story for me is always better. I can't wait to read it. I can lose my self in a story far better than a movie.

i couldn't sleep for a couple nights after seeing it... horror movies now have become a bit tedious...but that was one film i wasn't expecting to scare the #### out of me...

The story itself was really great I thought,because I am a big fan of short horror stories. The movie was good it had everything I expected it to have, but the ending was the creepiest part and that gave me goosebumps the most.

One of my favorite King movies. I loved the ending. His wife was just speechless. I love ghost movies and 1408 and The Shining (1997) are my favorites.

I think this movie was great, with a silent hill touch at the end.
Cusak is great to play writers, I do not know why, but it warks well.


The most horrible scene is certainly in the air tunnel or maybe when he realize that someone who looks like him is in the other building.

Great movie!! Really great! Without being a cliché or being flooded with gore etc. But it could've been a bit scarier in my eyes...like the short story!
