I seen the movie. The acting I feel could have been better, but I did enjoy it. It was indeed gross.

I thought it was a good movie and it was also kinda amusing. but then again I have a sick sense of humor. If you let yourself like it you will.
I didn't like this movie at all. Well, yes I did but not the ending, the ending destroyed the whole movie.
3/10
I have fond memories of this film, It got me hooked on the Horror and Slasher genre.
I still remember the VHS tape box, it had these cool cogs and gears, but it was embossed so they stuck up from the case and gave it a 3D effect
And I really liked Robert Englund's performance in this (even though the character's not in the short story), it was nice seeing him play someone besides Freddy Krueger.
and there's a sequel that is worth renting for the badness factor, in it the Mangler is a computer virus that falls in love with he college girl who "Birthed" it.One scene has electrical cords coming to life and picking up shears to dispatche a character,
yet all of the deths happen off-screen. It's called "Mangler 2" ,how original.
I bought the DVD of this movie as I knew it was a SK story.
I have wasted my money.
i watched this recently... it was horrible... I like Robert Robert Englund but he should have not been in this movie or at least this character... also did they really think we'd be fooled into thinking that woman was 16 Years old!!! she looked 30!! even with bad dubbing it wasn't possible....
I watched it a couple of months ago. Ordered it from Netflix. It was cheesy, but I enjoy watching SK films anyway, just to spot the differences in the stories. Besides, watching bad horror movies is never a waste of time.
I like the Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs/Lieutenant Stoddlemeyer from Monk actor-guy too. Plus, it has Freddy Krueger in it.
Embrace the mid 90's cheese.
First 1 is better.
Hmm, the book was great.
