And it will make you have sympathy for a character you wouldn't believe it possible to have, so it's a masterful piece of writing.

Quite a fast, Bachman, read, but I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy it and I'm looking forward to your thoughts after you've finished.

Hi John, Did you find Blaze a little like Of Mice and Men only Lennie gets left on his own?

Wow! Some really old stuff here. But as I am re-reading Blaze (again) I have to say, simply, it is a love story. Blaze loved Joe, and he loved George and he loved Johnny. Blazed loved. Do you?

I don't think I ever wrote my opinion about Blaze. So I read the book two years ago. And it was awesome. I've thought to re-read it again. Hey I can put it on my summer reading list.

I didn't really get much out of the book when I read it when it was first published. I just read it again though and I really enjoyed it this time. I think it was a touching story of a life that was instead of a life that could have been. I missed that the first time, looking for things that weren't there so I felt let down. That'll teach me! Slow down, feel the story and quit gobbling words down just to reach the end...

I thought it had a very, uh, different feel to it, so very, Bachman.

I loved it, and can't wait to re-read it.

    Hi,

Isn't that always the way with a Sai King story?

Always better on subsequent re-reads IMO.
