Has anyone else thought about the concept of having different rooms, chambers, filing cabinets, whatever in our minds? I was re-reading "The Road Virus Heads North" yesterday and remember how Mr. King used this concept in "Dreamcatchers", too. I was really intrigued by it in both stories.
It seems to make a lot of sense. I wish sometimes I could close off one section and concentrate a little more on another.
I wonder if Mr. King thinks this way and can consciously and visually see or feel the different chambers in his mind working.
I was also wondering how many of his books and stories are based on him. There seem to be many that reference authors and how they think and feel. Obviously, it's what he knows and they always say you should write about what you know!
Just some musings for the morning!!!

Seriously though I love how he thinks of an interesting theme then uses the concepts in multiple books - it shows an immense enthusiasm in his ideas.
