Hey can someone help an aspiring writer?

Hey guys, as I am sure alot of us have come to know, getting your writting noticed and off the ground is a hard burden. I was wondering if anyone knows any tip on querry letters, writing tips, or anything that can help someone to get noticed, thank you.

Let me start by welcoming you to the board.

There are many websites and publications that can help you find answers to your questions. The two places I would start would be Writersdigest.com and the local library. You may want to check out a book titled Writer's Market. Some libraries only carry reference copies, so you may want to bring a pad of paper and a pencil. Another good book I suggest reading would be Stephen King On Writing.

As for a tip, write because you enjoy it and be true to yourself. Above all else do not get discouraged.

Try Writers Associations for help. There also is a Social Group for writers here on SKMB.
