Castle Rock

Does anybody know the origins of where Stephen King got the name Castle Rock from? I was reading Lord of the Flies, and I think it's one of SK's favorite books, and one of the central locations in the novel is called the castle rock. Is this where he got it from? Maybe Ms Mod knows?

I asked him about that several years ago and he told me he couldn't remember for sure but that it made sense to him that he might have taken it from Lord of the Flies.
