I have the exact same problem! The smacking sounds make my skin crawl and my guts curl up. I don't know how to handle it, because it's not always appropriate to address it. Especially when I have a meal with people I don't know well, it's like torture because I can't comment on it or MAKE them stop...

I have several friends that are constantly late to things, and I have to keep calling them. Very frustrating.
This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I can not stand being late. I would much rather be there 15 minutes early and read a book while waiting than to be even 1 minute late. My Ex always was late, he was actually late to our wedding, should have been a wake up call to me then. Now when I have to deal with him I always tell him that I have to meet with him an hour before I actually do, that way he is there on time.

For me, one of the hardest thing is to watch someone uses double packing plastic bags to carry one bottle of coke home, or uses a dozen to carry his or her groceries. At times, I have to hold back at work from not hiding the plastic cups (we do, of course, have plenty of glass ones, but people seen to prefer using 12 a day rather than washing theirs).

I know I may seen insane to some, but I think of this planet, the creatures that live in them - people included, and what we do to them, and it literally breaks my heart.
I see this all the time, I even offered to purchase canvas bags for this one lady at the store, she turned me down flat, she said she used them as garbage bags. She must have had 25 or 30 bags in her cart. Many with just one item in it.

I can see only having one item in a bag if a person is buying a bunch of groceries and some Drano, since the Drano should not be packed with the food, but you would think the person behind the till (assuming they are bagging the stuff for her and it is not a self serve option) would bag more responsibly. I know some stores charge a few pennies for each bag now.

Where I work, if it is only one or two items, I will ask if they NEED a bag... and not if they WANT a bag. When they say no, my automatic response is 'Cool!' Just a bit of positive reinforcement. I have a couple of customers who want all of their smaller bags packed into a jumbo bag, but they never say so before you start. They are too effing cheap to buy garbage bags, so with those few little treasured ones, we have started to fib and say we are out of them.

I don't like littering on roadways and streets. It is not pleasant and unsanitary. The least people could do is use a trash receptacle or keep their trash til they can properly dispose of it.

I have a bus stop right in front of my house and there is a trash can right next to it, but every day I'm cleaning my front steps.. AAAHHHH !!!!
