I have had dark tower series for eome time and read them back to back while on holiday two years ago. I decided to read again and in vol V11 found that the page numbers went from 48 to 527 and then 558 to 79 and then correct to the end. First time I must have just accepted this as a twist in the plot but this time I have tried to follow and have now found that this is an error. 33 pages are missing. I am sure that if this was any other author I would have taken the book back but as Mr Tower the book collector said books with mistakes were worth money I accepted this.

Hmm...sounds to me like you need another copy. I'm sure that it must have been weird reading it like that.

It seems like this is happening quite frequently as other members have posted that they have versions of the Dark Tower books in which pages are missing.

My Tower 7 book has chapters fallen out of it and loose pages around the kitchen of the sub NY, but I use a plastic wrap to save them all together. (Yesss, this is first Tower book I wrote notes in)

How could one even follow the story if 33 pages are missing?

Well, keep it and get another one. I'm sure you can find a paperback one for a reasonable price and I have several King books in multiple copies. They look nice and colorful on my bookstand.

This appears to be commonplace-a case of shoddy mass market bindery-hence no big cash in possibility. However, the story is invaluable-take thee forth to the nearest book-seller and grab another copy. DO IT-DO IT NOW!!!!! (sorry, I'm 5 minutes overdue for meds)
