I've tried doing so in the past, but my VM's only seem to go back to a certain point.. I'd like to see my very first message!

Same here. And stuff like Chattery Teeth only goes back a few weeks for me. I don't know how people can resurrect threads that are any older than that. I have no knowledge of such arcane wisdom. (Doesn't it seem like Led Zeppelin should be playing in the background when you say stuff like that? Maybe it's just me...)

You can change that, Jen--it's easy, I promise.

Go to:

Settings
General Settings
Thread Display Options
Default Thread Age Cut Off
From the drop-down menu there, choose how long you want posts to go back for display
