Vince Vaughn for Eddie(DT Movie)

I've posted this a few times, and I'm sorry if I'm staring to get annoying, but I'm practically on a campaign here. I really think that Vince Vaughn would make the perfect Eddie in the upcoming Dark Tower movies. I've thrown out a few other ideas in the Newbies forum under, The Dark Tower Movie (my first post). I've thought that Vaughn would make a great Eddie since "Songs...". As far as Roland, I think Jim Caviezel would do a great job. He's dark haired and blue eyed, plus is a great actor. Hugh Jackman might also do a great job. I can picture him wearing Roland's hat and six shooters. But whoever plays him had better do Roland justice. Johnny Depp would make a great Flagg, but he can play anything so you could put him an any role, really. I also think Christopher Walken should be in the movies as well. I think HE would also make a great Flagg, but some might argue he's too old. But, if anyone's taking votes, I say VAUGHN FOR EDDIE all the way.
Whatever the case, I'm more nervous about the DT series being make into movies than I was when I first heard they were making a mini-series of The Stand. I have faith in Abrams though. And how cool was it that Steve sold the rights to him for 19 bucks!! Totally KA!!

I always thought of Eddie as a little scrawnier than Vince but I see your vision, he has the right face.
As for Johnny you're right he can play anything, and Christopher Walkin has already played in two I think. I'd love to see him again in an SK adaptation.

Have nothing against Vince Vaugh, but no way can I see him as Eddie. I don't think he has the ability to stretch himself enough for this part. He doesn't seem to be very deep emotionally. That is only my opinion of course.

I don't see Vince Vaughan as Eddie. Recently I've been seeing all Dark Tower characters as cast members from the movie Deliverance. Don't ask me why. Then Chuck Norris makes an appearance as the Crimson King.

Yep, my imagination has run wild and there is nothing I can do about it.

Jim Caviezel... I started noticing him ever since I saw Frequency, I thought he was great there... as for Christopher Walken, he should definitely be there too! I can't forget the first time I saw The Dead Zone...

I could maybe see the Vince Vaughn thing. He could lose like 50 lbs.

Vince could do it...but like cnic419 said, he'd have to lose some weight to get the heroin junkie look...and he'd have to check his alleged ego at the door while maintaining his great comic timing. I doubt he'd do the flick anyway. The "numbers" won't be right.

I always thought of Eddie more like a John Cusak or Ed Norton... Someone a little dark and mysterious.

Considering how much I hate Vince Vaughn, and considering how Eddie is my favorite character in the DT series, I would probably kill myself if Vaughn was cast as him. Ooooh... that Vaughn!
