    Default Flagg ****SPOILER****

Does anyone think that Randall Flagg is TRULY deceased? A being that powerful, able to travel from universe to universe with ease--could he really be that easily destroyed? And if, as SK says, the universe has wound down, making Flagg less powerful, what would happen now that the universe has regenerated? Even in spirit form, wouldn't Flagg remain a force to be reckoned with?

I think so. He died in one of the keystone universes, and dead is dead there. The CK, on the other hand... Who knows?

    Hi,

Well, to me Flagg is the apotheosis of all evil, and does evil ever really die?

DT spoiler - Glad he suffered at the behest of Mordred though, I enjoyed that, and although he may be eyeless, the CK's eyes remain.

    Long days and pleasant nights

It depends where Roland is at in his loop doesn't it? At the beginning of book 7 he truly is dead, but at the end Roland is once again on the trail of the man in black and things may not happen the same way again.

Perhaps Randall Flagg is still alive somewhere. Once Roland catches up with him again after Dark Tower VII, maybe they'll get to have their duel to the death. That would be cool.

If Stephen killed him off, then he is dead. That is good enough for me.

he was alive and doing fine in the last story i read, so who's to say? who's to say after mordred had his snack, flagg didn't wake up somewhere, bewildered again? comforting, i know, be safe.
