DT - Song of Susannah

I just finished the series last week, and I for one enjoyed every book along the way for it is the journey that makes it a great story. If I had to pick a favorite one it would probably be The Drawing of the Three thats the one that got me really hooked and of course The Dark Tower is great as well, I didnt want it to end in a way. I thought Wizard and Glass was good too, and im suprised to see how many readers didnt enjoy learning about Roland's early life and his relationships with his friends, it did stray away from the Dark Tower a little bit, but I felt it was important to know what made Roland the way he was.

NOooo Drawing of the Three is by far the best although DT7 was full of loads of surprises!haha
It took me ages to get into Wizard and Glass but once i got into it, it was brilliant!
Hope you enjoy them as much as i did! only wish he could make some more

SoS was a breath of fresh air for me after reading DT volumes 1 thru 5. King's books have that slow-pace-big-build and don't really get to the action until the end. Each time I'd finish a DT book and start the next one, it would be back to the slow moving development each time.

SoS pulls you right into the action and doesn't let go.
Dark Tower 7 is a doorstopper...but it's a fast paced doorstopper. Enjoy!

I reading Song of Susannah at this moment. I start with DT 7 in September or Oktober. It depends when I buy the last book of DT.

I'm reading song of Susannah at the moment and I have to say I really like it, I didn't think I would, as it got quite bad reviews on amazon and other places, and is generally known as the worst of the series, I can't really see why myself, I'm finding it quite exciting, can't wait to see what happens.

This was the one I liked least in the series but at the same time I felt it was necessary to have all of this information told seperate from the last book, so I'm glad all of that wasn't crammed into the last book.

there are no bad reviews for Stephen King books, especially loved Song of Susannah, Stephen King could scribble on a 'used' napkin and it would be frameable
