Hi,
Yes, he did, you'll find it in Night Shift and the story's much better than the movie IMO.
But I don't know why you didn't know, that's a hard one LOL
Long days and pleasant nights
Indeed he did. It first appeared in his 1978 short story compilation "Night Shift" (and I'm sure Ms Mod will correct me on that one if I'm wrong.)
As for why you didn't know? I have no idea, but I'd guess you've never read the book.
SK is everywhere, didn't you realise?![]()
I enjoyed the story hated the movie. A real stinker.
Yeah, great story...movie was okay...never as good as the books though. The sequels were just plain stupid
I just re-read it for the umpteenth time and i must say, it still gets my heart rate going![]()
well you should read nightshift 'children of the corn is not the only really good story in taht book, in there are some of kings best short stories^^
it is also in SK Goes to the Movies. I watched the movie a long time ago and it scared the crap out of me (I hate scary movies!!!!!) I started the read the story and had to put it down...still have not picked it back up. This was the first time that this has ever happened to me.
yes i,m reading "night shift" again and children of the corn is a fantastic story
I've know people that are amazed when I tell them that Sai King wrote Shawshank and Stand by Me.
