Default The King and The Boss...

As a huge fan of both Stephen King and Bruce Springsteen, I'd be interested to see which SK novel and which BS album are the favourites of other forum members.

My personal votes go to "The Stand" and "Born To Run".

If the thread gets enough responses, I'll volunteer to do the arithmetic and compile the definitive "Forum Top Ten" list for both.

I'll give you half an answer.

Rose Madder (Eyes of the Dragon a very close second) is my favorite book.

    I don't like Bruce.

My favorite SK Novel right now is Bag of Bones.
I can't pick one favorite Springsteen song! That isn't fair!
Ok, I'm going to say I'm On Fire.
It was the first one my mp3 player played this morning.

    Yes, in exactly that order.

I might not have ever read a Stephen King book or found my way here had I not flipped open The Stand a lifetime ago and found Bruce's Jungleland lyrics there. I can still feel the chills.

Born to Run from before I can remember and will always run in my heart.

    I think it was fate.

I'd have to go with It and The River.

With The Talisman and Born to Run coming in as very close second choices.
