I was wondering if "the long Walk" has been filmatised? Is that the correct word for it? All of Richard Bachman's Novels are my favorites, and I have read them 2-3 times each. The running Man would be a great movie too, I imagine ...

I believe Frank Darabont (of Shawshank, Green Mile and The Mist) has the option for it, can you say hallelujah?

But I don't think he's made a start on it yet.

The Running Man was very badly filmed (IMO) with Arnie in the lead role and it would indeed make a great re-make, but considering the ending, I would think that unlikely.
