This is fresh news that brings hope to my heart. Remember the Polish immigrant who was Tasered to death in the Vancouver airport? The cops might just be facing charges after all.

Is it my imagination, or are the police beginning to use these tasers as the new weapon of choice? And aren't a lot of people dying after being tasered? Maybe someone should take a longer look into these things to make sure they are not more deadly than previously suspected.

Yes!! I'm so glad they will be charged. And Yes tasers are being used indiscriminately, here in Vancouver anyway. A lot of people are dying. The police have been frustratingly obtuse about the whole issue. I'm not surprised though, they don't want to have to do 'policing' they just want to zap every problem into submission. God forbid they should talk to someone in distress. Someone here got tased for not paying the fare on a bus!
The trouble is if you don't give these police tasers they just shoot people dead in the street for brandishing a steak knife while falling down drunk. It's disgusting. Those are just a couple of examples of the things that have happened in Vancouver recently.

The Polish Government's interest in seeing justice done is probably the only reason the police here have decided to bloody well police themselves and charge these slack azzes. I saw on the news that the Poles were not going to let this drop and were planning on some kind of legal avenue to make these jerks pay.

Can you tell this issue burns me up? It's such a no brainer arghhh!
