Short Stories

If you love short stories and want to see how a legendary master did it then read Hemingway's The Short Stories. It's a collection of his first 49 stories. It's great to see how Hemingway improved through the years. Not all of them are gems. There are some stinkers as far as I am concerned, but you still won't be disappointed. Good stuff.

Does it have The Old Man and the Sea in it, by any chance?

By far my favourite of his shorter stories.

No, Old Man And The Sea isn't among them; however, The Snows Of Kilimanjaro is and it is a fine story. Probably the best in the book.

I always liked Hills Like White Elephants and The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber. (Hope I'm remembering those correctly.) I admit I don't like all his stuff, though.
