Hello all, been lurking around here long enough so I guess it's time to get the introduction out of the way. I have been a long time fan (25+ yrs), however between major life changes and relocations I lost a good bit of my earlier collection. Over the last couple of years I have replaced many, but still lack quite a few. Dark Tower series, christine, cujo, shining, etc.

With little time to read the last few years, and I am the kind of person that likes to absorb herself in a book...no noise in the background, no distractions. It's hard to find a place in my house to do that in.
I feel like I am a real newbie, I was so excited when I got through Cell a few weeks ago. Okay this may sound corny, but honestly I felt like I was reunited with an old love. Whenever I had hard times growing up, I always immersed myself in his stories, again when I was in the Army (worked as a morturary affairs specialist)...working at a funeral home, he was my escape from the true horror of reality.

I look forward to rereading those I read years ago, reading those I have yet to, and chatting with all of fine folks here on the board.
