I recently bought a soft cover copy of The Bachman Books at a used bookstore. I think I paid $3.50 for it. I was re-read Rage and loved it. I started to read The Long Walk and realized that my copy was missing 50 pages in the middle of The Long Walk . It wasn't as if the pages were ripped out, it was as if they weren't printed at all! Such a disappointment. Now I am on the hunt for another copy! I have looked in a lot of used bookstores and I don't think $24.95 is an unreasonable amount at all!

A great place to look is www.chapters.com under the used and rare section. I have gotten a lot of books from there and they are all in great shape. I usually end up paying anywhere from $5.00 to $10.00 per hardcover and $7.00 for shipping and handling. Good luck!
