really? honestly, when i first read the shining, i've got goosebumps when i realized redrum is murder. !!! and i can't sleep since then. haha!

It's always funny to me that, as a kid, I would hear "REDRUM" come up in kid's ghosts stories, and I never realized that it was a King invention until I read the book last month!

It's such a simple and probably would be a silly idea if used in a bad plot device, but it works so well with the story of The Shining and everything set out before that moment, so it's brilliant, and no wonder it is such a cult moment
