The Dark Tower series had the best ending. It was unexpected. Bleak and hopeful at the same time. Very eerie. Besides Stephen King was right. The adventure is more enjoyable than the climax. But I absolutely loved the ending. I expected some people to have a problem with it but, it was accurate. Roland thought the only thing that mattered was the Dark Tower. And ironically, the Dark Tower is the all knowing organism that condemns him for betraying humanity to reach it. It's a wonderful poetic justice. I never felt envy, regret, contempt, compassion, and pity all for one character before.

    I'd say "Pet Sematary".

Iam thinking Green Mile as Coffey ended up just who he should be. I just love the character there.

I would venture to say the ending to DT is the best and most controversial, but when I think of my personal favorite it is The Tommyknockers. I have been a major flying saucer lover ever since I could walk, and sK's Tommyknocker flying saucer is the greatest I have ever...seen. What the protagonist does at the end is perfect for his character.

The ending of Dead Zone came into my mind. The last couple of pages are touching.

The ending of the Running Man is great .

The Wastelands. It really isn't a true ending because the series continues and you are left with a cliffhanger but the final part of that book from Jake being taken to the train leaving is as good as it gets.

Gerald's Game for sure, that ending creeped me out and made the novel one of my favorite SK works to date.
