As a teenager I started off reading Guy N Smith books and James Herbert,then I got my first Stephen King book Salems Lot,I loved it although it scared me senseless!
I then bought Pet Sematary and couldn`t get into it.
I then started reading Koontz stuff and became a fan,every so often I`d pick up the odd Stephen King book(Insomina,Bag Of Bones,Green Mile)loved them all but never became a Constant Reader.
However I`ve fallen out with Koontz books as the last half a dozen have been rubbishand have recently started collecting Mr King`s work.
Have recently read From A Buick 8 and Four Past Midnight and enjoyed them,have also picked up Duma Key, Cell and Lisey`s Story.
Am I forgiven for taking so long to come around to being a Stephen King fan?
