He is a fantastic character, isn't he? One of the few Stephen King character that is completely good, in spite of he's untamed nature. You probabely reached the end of the story and know the answer to your question by now (you sounded quite eager, so I'm guessing you haven't put the book down 'til it was done), but I'm also sure that whatever happened to Wolf, you will take him with you, in some way, and that, I believe, is the best legacy a fictional character can hope for.

    Best wishes.

Love this thread about Wolf. His character lives on strongly in my heart. Like an old friend you dont think of everyday but when u do he feels u with warmth and good memores. I cannot listen to Bark at the Moon without thinking of him.

Isnt there something about crossing to the territories when reading that is so exciting? Its so great building up to it and crossing over. Thoughts of Wolf bring those same feelings without reading.

Frank did a FANTASTIC job of giving life to this dude with his voice. I love these books. I can't wait for the comics!

I loved Wolf, as I read this book and took this travel with Jack, I could actually feel the comfort of having him with me. WOLF!

Out of all of Steves characters, Wolf, in my humble opinion is the best. I read The Talisman when I was 15 and it is the only book, to this day, that has brought me to tears. That being said, I'm going to put my other books down and start this one .

    Aww what a nice thread!

Wolf (along with Tom Cullen and actually I think there are some similarities between them, simple souls, loyal with good hearts) is my favourite character!

I just loved at the start of "Black House", the follow up book to the Talisman ----- the first line (cant remember exactly but goes something like this)

"RIGHT HERE AND NOW, AS AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE USED TO SAY"................when I read that sentence I actually felt my eyes filling up with tears!
