Default So im in this unique bookstore and i come across a Special Edition of "Dead Zone"....

At the Chamblin Bookmine in Jacksonville, Fl. They have over a million books, etc, etc. Anyhow, I just bought the Dead Zone first edition last week from there, and I stop in this time before dinner to kill some time. I see this SE and took a few pics with my cell phone. I've never come across a SE edition of a book that i know of, let alone a SK one and it was an interesting sight to see. They want $60 for it, think it's worth it? The regular Dead Zone I bought last week FE was $10 from there.

Sorry, but the links aren't working for me so can't comment on the one you're referring to but there are many special edition books. You can see most of them here, although I notice we need to add Just After Sunset's collector's edition. I hadn't thought of it as technically being a limited edition but it did only have one print run so would qualify.

The UK Just After Sunset's collector's edition was limited to 500.

That's the Easton Press edition, with illustrations by Jill Baumann. It's a nice collectable but not overly valuable; however, $60 doesn't seem out of line compared to some of the asking prices I see online. You should check this page to see if its a first printing or a later one, though

It appears to be a new edition due to the boxes on the spine.

... Wow! Holy crap! Not only does that look great but you can see the rest of the books in the corner... I would kill for a shop like that! The only place I can get a moderately wanted version is through Amazon... where are these shops?!

Looks like a beauty regardless of present value.
