    Default Your SK book collection

I want to hear about other people's Stephen King collections. How many do you have? Do you display them or protect them? Where have you acquired them? Anything.

I have 38 mostly hardcover books, right now they are kind of helter skelter on a book case in my room, I've collected them over the years, not so much to collect them but because I could never bear to part with them. I've also bought them second hand and even have some well used library castaways. My Dark Tower Series whatever I could lay my hands on but I have them all.

I have quite alot of SK, don't know exactly as most of my books are still packed away waiting for shelves to go up ;p

But on my desk here by my computer I have the whole DT series which I got for my Birthday last year, The Talisman, Insomnia, Cujo, Dolores Claiborne and Dreamcatcher.

Now I have finished the DT books I am contemplating which one to go for next.

Has Steve published 38 books? I've never counted them, guess i should, I 've got a lot of hard covers from my favorite authors. Had to give some to the library.

I have all but 3, hopefully soon to be 2!
They are on a long table/bookcase display as soon as you come in the front door of my house!
I pick them up anywhere I can find them.
    Best,
    Bal

    Hi
I have 47 King Novels (inc Bachman copies and the Straub collaborations). They are all on bookshelves in my front room along with a lot of other books. They come in a mixture of Hard back and paperback and the majority were bought new.
I think the only ones I have missing are DT 1,2,3 (lent them out and never seen since- that won't happen again) , a copy of The GreenMile, and On Writing.

I've been collecting SK books since I got hooked around 36 years. Don't know how many (recently moved and still some in boxes) but I do have a signed hard cover of IT that I picked up in a used bookstore for 50 cents!

I have never counted mine, that would be interesting.

Nothing in my house gets protected, really, we're all pretty hard on stuff. I'm one of the worst! I tend to read the books I like until the covers fall off and the binding cracks in half and I've lost pages.

I've read a lot of King books, but my collection is kind of small right now. I've got about seven hard covers (Insomnia, Just After Sunset, The Tommyknockers, Wolves of the Calla, Dolores Claiborne, Needful Things, Duma Key) and all but the Tommyknockers is a first edition. I also have the first four Dark Tower books in Plume Paperback editions. These eleven are on the same shelf of a six foot bookstand that also contains my collection of leather bound classics and ancient religious texts.

I also have several paperbacks, but they are situated on a smaller, three-foot shelf that is nestled between my two other book cases.

I have a lot of book space to fill up.
