Broken Drum

Anyone know if the bar referenced in Desperation (The Broken Drum) is a reference to the pub in ANkh Morpork of the Discworld novels? As a fan of both Terry Pratchett and Mr King it made me wonder.
Though I did find a song called Broken Drum...so it could be that
