Default Stephen King Books you really didn't like

Now, I know we ALL love King, but I mean c'mon, there has to be a book you didn't like. For me, it was desperation. Also, anyone think the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson STINKS BAD? James is a good writer, at times, but he really is trying too hard. I liked Sunday's at Tiffany's and Run For Your life, though.

I've got several I don't really like that much. My least favorite is Dolores Claiborne, followed by Eyes of the Dragon, then Cell.

    Hi,

The Tommyknockers. I tried reading it six times before and each time I couldn't get through The Ship in the Earth.

Now it has become one of my favorite novels ever.

Right now I have no dislikes for any King novels. I'll be done with The Tommyknockers by the end of the next hour and then I'll be moving immediatly on to Needful Things.

(Off-topic: Did you ever try reading all of Sai King's longest novels straight? I am. Read Salem's Lot, The Stand, Dark Tower, IT, now The Tommyknockers. STRAIGHT. Only an hour break. Whew! )

    Long days and pleasant nights

I'm with Cowboy, I like them to different degrees but even that can change on a re read.
However I admit to having a hard time with Lisey's Story.

I really didn't like Tommyknockers and Dark Tower The Gunslinger. But rest of the DT series I love. Maybe Rolands meeting with man in the black don't work for me.

My least favorite would have to be Gerald's Game. I read the whole thing and gave it a shot, but I just didn't like it. A couple of the others I didn't like were Cell, Needful Things, and Insomnia.
