just started reading the dark tower again and i have noticed a typo that keeps popping up. firstly eddie was spelt with only 1 D and then jake has an R at the end in two times his name is mentioned. ANYONE ELSE SEEN THESE TYPO'S?

couple maybe. the travois that eddie made is being described from roland's pov and the supports are described as "man supports". dunno if that is s'posed to be that way, or if it should be "main". somewhere else, i think "marvelous" is spelled w/2 "l"s. didn't see any "jakeR" that what you mean? someone was having a bad day, hey?
Seems like you are not enjoying the reread much.
I did notice that in Book II, directions are sort of wacky: They are going north on the beach, so the Western Sea should be to their left, but it says right a couple of times
I never notice type-o's. I'm to engrossed in the story to care.
In my books I don't think the 'U' key was working because there are loads of words missing the u. Like colour, honour and favourite![]()
Alright, you Brit, you! Go have a 'biscuit' in your 'flat,' or somethin!
(Actually, I like those words better with "u"s...seems smarter somehow.)
I live in Kentucky, and on my way to work, there's a church sign that says, "Honour the Lord." Must be some Brits there too!![]()
its the hodder and stoughton new english library edition.....2003.
We Canadians also adhere to the "ou" combination. Sometimes I drop it for American consumption but it doesn't feel right to me.
As to spelling errors I am always a little pizzed off when I see them. I mean don't people get paid to check for that? Come on person! you're working for a master whose work is distributed worldwide...wake up!
