Question How many "secret club" short stories are there?

Forgive me if this has been answered, but exactly how many of the "secret gentleman's club" short stories are there? Of course, there is the Breathing Method and I can remember one other for sure, but I would really love to read more.

    Thanks,

    Shannon

good question. i've enjoyed those stories, as well. alas, seems like the two mentioned seem to be the only ones. had me paging thru the collections, hoping to find another i was. some other stories are sorta like the club stories. sure seems like i've read more than one, the doctor's case is kinda like those and there's a few others, ballad of the flexible bullet maybe and there's stories where one person is narrating a story for others present.
check out straub's hellfire club, too. i prolly ought to read it again as well.

Do they ever explain the butler, Stevens, or anything more about the club and it's strangeness?

Not that I'm aware of. But it really seems to fit in with the whole "The Mist", thinny, From a Buick 8 idea.

the club? tracy, that what you mean? in two stories, as shasta posted earlier. the man who would not shake hands and the other, the breathing method. they're in different collections, different seasons, maybe, for the last. not too hard to find them. a club where stories are told. the doctor's last case, another story, kinda reminds me of the two "club" stories. they have an almost victorian tone to them, even though they're set in...our time? read 'em and find out. good stories.
