Default How well do you sleep

I have never had a good nights sleep unless I have been comatosed due to the effects of alcohol (and then its not been that good a sleep)
I get about 5-6 hours of broken sleep but I have started taking 5-HTP which does seem to help, not making me sleep more but allowing me to return to sleep more easily once woken. Mind you I still feel tired all the time
    How well do you sleep?

Weekdays I usually sleep pretty well for about 5 or 6 hours and then I'm restless. I've started reading into the early morning hours and then I go to bed. I get up at 6 and feel pretty good.

Weekends are a different story. I sleep in until 7 (usually) and then nod off for an hour or two at some point during the afternoon.

I hope you find a solution that works for you. No fun feeling tired all the time.

I stay up until I start to nod, then say, "I must be ready for sleeping." I tip over and sleep until my eyes open, then say, "I must be finished sleeping." I usually stay asleep between seven and nine hours. During school days, I get up to prepare my son for school, see him get on the bus, then I go back to sleep if I feel lazy. If I stop moving, I can go to sleep very easily.

I have insomnia and sleep like crap for a period of time that is never long enough. Stress. Takes me hours to work it out of my system with music and dancing. I literally have to be exhausted to sleep.

I sleep like a rock ... except I have a really hard time falling asleep if my husband isn't there.

Most nights I sleep like a rock. I am so tired from work that by 10:00 my eyes are
closing and then its off to la-la land.
Only if I drink coffee late at night do I get insomnia but that is not too often.
Must be really a bummer to not get a good nite sleep.

I have been an insomniac for most of my life...
Which only got worse during the civil war in former YU.

But...it doen`t bother me much...more time to read, watch movies...or look after my daughter while my darling wife gets some well deserved rest.

There is always a sunny side of the street, you know ?

It usually takes me about 20 to 30 minutes to get to sleep. I've always had a hard time getting to sleep, but once I'm there, forget it, I won't get up until I'm ready.

I don't sleep well either. For some reason my brain chooses to run through all of life's problems while my head rests on the pillow. It's not like I can do anything about the electric bill at 3AM. I have found that doing some reading and then listening to music with my headphones on will actually give me a few hours of solid sleep. It took a while to find the right kind of music. For some bizarre reason techno works the best. This doesn't make any kind of sense to me, but it works so why argue?
