Default Anyone here read John Grisham

I know its a different Genre but I am a fan of John Grishams you know, The Firm, A time to kill, The Chamber etc... I just finished reading his latest, the Associate, excellent reading on the same lines of the Firm only more mysterious because this time he is blackmailed into working at a big law firm to steal their secrets. A must read.

I've read several Grisham books but what is even better is listening to them on tape.

I am a Grisham fan as well. A Time To Kill is a favorite. But I really enjoyed A Painted House more than the others I've read of his. Probably my least favorite was Innocent Man or Bleachers. I think he can develop characters in detail similar to King, and that is why I am a fan of both. You live inside the books when you read them.

Yeah, I just read The Associate and I liked it too. Being a new young lawyer would suck! My favorite is A Time to Kill.

I read him frequently during high school. A Time to Kill was one of my favorites! I recently read Playing for Pizza, and found it really interesting, especially since it was not based on the legal system. He has several tricks up his sleeve!

I own The Associate, but I am not a Grisham fan. I guess I'll eventually get around to reading it, but for now I'll put it off for as long as possible. I read A Painted House and The Runaway Jury, both of which I thought were mediocre. I take that back on A Painted House - I thought that one was pretty bad.

I used to love John Grisham, not so much anymore.

The Rainmaker is one of my favorites, and of course, A Time to Kill.
I listened to the Terrance Mann reading of The Last Juror, a newer Grisham, and I didn't think it was that great...
