though everything about Eddie was so sympathetic i couldnt help but focus on him alot of the time and feel bad for him.

That's kind of a weird coming from a guy with Robert Gray as a user name, was Ben Hanscom or any other of the loser's taken? Anyway,people don't have to a reason for liking Pennywise the most. Just cause a character isn't the most fleshed out doesn't mean that they can't be the most fasinating..

People always have a "reason," whether they are aware of it or not. I will accept your answer as stating you don't know why you like Pennywise the most. I will likewise accept that you find the Losers annoying. I find it difficult to believe you made it through over a thousand pages of story about the Losers while not liking them. People are strange it seems. Ben is my favorite character from the book, although I am fond of all the Losers. I also like Henry Bowers and Mr. Keene.

I got it because you quoted and answered a question directed at someone else. I naturally assumed you were the person I originally was speaking to.

Hi all! I am new here (haha can you tell??) and IT is my absolute favorite SK book of all time. I have read it at least 10 times and I always seem to find something new when I re-read it. I can honestly say that I don't have a favorite character because they are all my favorite characters and I love them all dearly for different reasons. I adore and identify Bev because like her, I grew up in an abusive home with an abusive father. I also married an abuser and was able to get out of that situation. But--I love all the characters. Even Henry Bowers (god-forbid)!

I like Pennywise because HE is the scariest clown ever and I love the silver dollar eyes. I wanted my user name to be Robert Gray or Pennywise, but they were already taken. I also liked that whiteboy Mike Hanlon and that latino Ricardo Tozier.

Ben Hanscom definetely. I loved his innocence and his deep love for Bev. I thought he was intelligent and could have easily been the leader, And as an adult although he was an alcoholic I loved his laid backedness and how humble he was.

My favorite character is Pennywise. Given all the kids are xcellent also. * SK put a very vivid picture for each IT character. I also luv that he places a good deal of 'em in other books.
