Finally watched "Chronicle" yesterday after purchasing the Blu-Ray some time ago. Not a bad little movie. Not really a fan of the "found footage" genre, but this worked fairly well.

Diamonds Are Forever (1971) - James Bond flick

Not bad but a disappointment. Definitely the weakest of the Sean Connery era Bond films. Connery had retired from the Bond series after the 1967 film, You Only Live Twice. The filmmakers coaxed a reluctant Connery out of Bond retirement by offering him a huge amount of money (2 million dollars, which at the time was unheard of) to do this film. Connery just doesn't give as good a performance as in the other films.

It's an age old lesson that no one ever seems to learn. Talking someone into doing something they don't want to do never works well.

Anyway here are my rankings of the Sean Connery era Bond films (1-4 are really close and I could easily swap positions on those 4):

I watched a really good British horror film last night called "The Devil's Business." It's a bit slow but I highly recommend it!

The Cabin in the woods-Not a bad movie but not my favorite either. A horror version of Big Brother if I may say.
21 Jump Street- A very good action comedy. Made me laugh couple of time.

I saw Underworld - Awakening last weekend. I thought the first Underworld movie was great, the second one not as good as the first. I thought this latest one had about 20 minutes of story and an hour of ripping and tearing.

I actually REALLY liked both of these movies and neither got very good reviews. I thought CITW was the most original movie (while being totally unoriginal!) that I had seen since, well, Black Swan I guess.

Still working through it mentally. Only thing I would mention is that it was *very* Stephen. Think 11/22/63 meets Carrie.
