Tangled. I love Disney cartoons and this one is definitely worth watching. It's one of the best cartoons I've seen in a few years. I absolutely loved it.

Re-watched David Lynch's Lost Highway. Man, David Lynch can take the most ordinary thing and turn it into something frightening. Robert Blake (TV's Barretta) is absolutely chilling in this film with his deliverence of lines like 'We've met before.'!! Creepy, creepy, creepy role. Bill Pullman and Patricia Arquette are great too. I love's me some David Lynch films!! Muholland Drive is a classic! I could watch that film over and over and never get bored with it. So many layers and nuances to it and so-o many interpretations as to what it really is about. Naomi Watts does an incredible job here. She deserved an Oscar for her part.

'Shadow of a Doubt' (1943) - film #4 in my home Hitchcock marathon ... I had high expectations for this one, but to tell you the truth, I really liked 'Rebecca' (1940) better. At times you would think you are watching a ghost story, but it's patent Hitchcock mystery all the way to the end. And Joan Fontaine is really outstanding. If you are one of those persons who are not turned off by older films, I highly recommend.

I saw Salt with Angelina Jolie. I love Jolie, but this movie was just okay. Jason Bourne would kick the crap outta Evelyn Salt.

I watched quite a few movies over the weekend...

Gangs of New York - love Daniel Day Lewis as Bill the Butcher.

Robocop - Probably been twenty years since I watched this, and didn't remember anything about it. Was shocked by the level of violence. Robocop shoots some guy in the b**ls!

Return of the Living Dead - Classic. One of my favorite zombie movies of all time.

Maverick - Say what you will about Mel Gibson now, but he's extremely likable as Bret Maverick, and this is just a happy, funny, all-around enjoyable movie. I wish they made more popcorn films half as good as this.

The Bourne Identity - Perhaps the best action trilogy of all time?

The Other Guys - another movie that surprised me with some good laughs. Marky Mark trying to be funny is funny in itself.
