I've seen two movies over the weekend.
    The first would be
    An affair to remember
First time seeing it and I loved it so much. It's timeless.

The other is something quite different, something oldskool, taking me back to my childhood. I loved that movie then, and afraid that I might still like it today, although now the 'action scenes' really seemed ridiculous, but I'm a sucker for nostalgia. And before I forget I'm talking about The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick made in 1990.

I watched the movie "Inglorious Basterds." Didn't really care for it. The scene where they beat to death that Wehrmacht officer, because he won't betray the position of the other German patrol, is truly horrific. But my principal complaint is that the movie is just plain dull.

I also watched the made-for-t.v. version of "The Tommyknockers." I'm sure people here could have warned me off of doing so, but at least I wasn't disappointed; I didn't really expect it to be very good, but was hoping for a surprise. I wasn't surprised. The way they altered the last scene, from "warp speed," to an explosion, was extremely lame.

I watched The Last Supper with Cameron Diaz last night. This movie is very good, but I do not believe it was very popular when it came out. A lot of people never heard of it before, but commical, and interesting at the same time.

I went to see District 9 a couple weeks ago... what a creative take on the alien genre! The characters were believable and well-written, the effects were spot on and it left me wanting more. Highly recommend this one!

I'm the only person I know who saw that movie in the theater. There must have been some others....(well, there were a dozen or so other people in the theater at the time).

I have mixed feelings about it, but it is a clever little film worth seeing, overall.

Geez-Louise, how could I have forgotten to mention I saw "District 9?" Very good movie, very unlike most other sci-fi movies. Much better than most, for that matter.

And anyone who didn't think that little alien boy was cute must be devoid of a soul. But not cute in a Disneyfied, "E.T." kind of way, but more like cute the way an actual human child can be.

I watched the new Disney Earth movie last night! I have to say I love, Love, LOVED this movie! It documents 3 harrowing stories of Polar Bears, Elephants and Hump Backed Whales! This is a movie that is 5 years in the making! Disney is using cutting edge cameras and technology that brings dynamic footage to the screen! Stunning, beautiful, amazing, captivating, this documentary moved me! That's all I can say! I highly recommend this one for the family!
