whats the latest movie you have watched?

I, too, just watched Last House on the Left and at times thought the violence would be too much for me to take, but, overall, I really liked the movie. The family getting revenge in the end and the son getting away to make a new life for himself. The ending scene with the microwave was a little far fetched for me, but I liked all the gore with the hand/garbage disposal scene. Sorry, I like the special effects and blood and stuff.

I like the gore too, like any other girl. But when we saw the hand/garbage disposal scene, me and my husband looked at eachother and laughed. We agreed that we could've handled it less bloody and screamy, but I guess that's why they call it the movies and not real life!

Yeah I have caught some of them. They started out with Wolf Creek last week which is one of my favourites so I had to watch it (for like the 50th time)...wonder what they have on tonight?
I know BBC1 have Needful Things on tonight so I will be watching that later.

I loved Wolf Creek. I only watched it the one time, but bought it on dvd since then, and it's been waiting to be seen again.

I liked it ... and that's a little surprising as adaptations of Stephen King books (with a few exceptions) usually don't work that well. IMHO (and it is humble as I have not seen all of the adaptations).

The film 1408 wasn't exactly like the story. Then again, I don't see how it could have been given the length of the film.

Guess, that's why it's based on the short story; and the story left plenty of room for interpretation.

John Cusack did a good job. The lamp in Samuel Jackson's office didn't look the way I thought it would... Lol

I rented The Rocker.

Too funny, talk about reliving the 80's. Recommend it to anyone for a feel good chuckle.

Have to agree, 1408 is brilliant. I have seen it far too many times already...but John Cusack is a doll, so I excuse myself this guilty pleasure.

I watched Let The Right One In earlier.
I have been eagerly anticipating this ever since people recommended it here a few months back so I bought the DVD today.
I found it very enjoyable yet my mind is still trying to assimilate an actual formative appraisal, so I will no doubt be spouting on about it properly in a couple of days .
