whats the latest movie you have watched?

I just watched Appaloosa yesterday. Great movie. I love Westerns. I also loved the pairing of Ed Harris and Viggo Mortenson. These two guys played off each other very well. And I loved the attention to detail in the costumes, etc. If you like a good Western, then I highly recommend this one.

Last night I watched Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon and it was very, very good. I don't think I moved or blinked the entire movie. The beginning was sad; actually their was a sad tone to the entire movie, but the action and suspense was fantastic.

Harvard Beats Yale - The film is a nice take on perception is reality in an interesting story (if you like sports and, maybe, even if you don't).

Forgot to mention yesterday; over the weekend I also watched "Carolina" starring Shirley Maclaine (sp?) and Julia Stiles, and also "The Nanny Diaries."

Carolina was a really good movie. There were a lot of stars in it, I enjoyed it and it had a great message. The Nanny Diaries was a bit boring and totally predictable. I watched the whole thing to see how it ended, but I wouldn't recommend it as a "must see."

I watched Obsessed with Beyonce and was surprised. It was pretty good, but not as good as Hand the Rocks the Cradle.
Then Backwoods, cheezy horror, that was okay, but not as good as Timber Falls or Wrong Turn.
Race to Witch Mountain was a good movie for the family. My 10 year old son loved this movie!

Just watched "Tropic Thunder." Not very good, in my opinion.

Re-watched "Tron" recently as well, which I hadn't seen since like 1984 or '85. What can I say? It doesn't hold up well over the years.
