I watched the re-make, or prequel, if you prefer, of John Carpenter's, "The Thing" last weekend. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The new directors did a good job of capturing the feeling of paranoia that made the 1982 version so good. Special effects were good, all in all, not as bad a remake as I thought it would be.

I watched Bel Ami (2012). It was pretty good, I loved the story, I liked the actors, they did a great job. Also watched Titanic in 3D, and I can say that it is the most impressive movie ever, in 3D it is even better.

    Contraband - OK action/suspense/thriller
The Hunger Games - satirical action adventure with food for thought
The Devil Inside - found footage exorcism movie: no surprises, some good performances
The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists! - wonderful comedy animation from Aardman (Wallace & Gromit)
Act Of Valor - military action - action sequences good, acting very very bad
Mirror Mirror: The Untold Adventures Of Snow White - charming, delightful, gently subversive
Wrath Of The Titans - massive CGI mayhem surrounds Sam Worthington at his most wooden
StreetDance 2 - people leaping about in 3D

Real Steel - Great family movie and Hugh Jackman is pretty easy on the eyes!

Money Ball - It was pretty good. Not into baseball but it captured my attention.

The Runaways with Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett. It wasn't a great movie.

I watched Titanic on Saturday. I've seen that movie 11 years ago and because it was 100 years ago since the ship sink
thought it's a perfect time for a re-watch. And watched the same movie yesterday again when it came on TV, there wasn't anything else to
watch anyway. It's a sad story because you know it's a true story and even if it was a movie I almost start to cry because I
felt sorry for those people who freeze to death in that cold water and for those who scream that lifeboat's should came back and
pick them up. But love the movie at the same time.

    Hi!

I watched Enough (I'm feeling kinda cranky), Gran Torino (I'm feeling kinda weepy) and Bridesmaids to cheer me up ('cause I've been feeling kinda cranky and weepy).

    Hugs.

    Peace.
