The original Planet of the Apes on blu-ray. The blu-ray picture is very impressive considering the age of the film.

Reality check - I noticed that the three astronauts could sleep in their chambers for 2,000 years and wake up and their muscles worked just fine. As soon as they woke, they were ready to jump in the life raft and go to shore. It takes me longer to get going after 6 hours of sleep than it did for them after 2,000 years of sleep.

Puss in boots! My girls thought it was adorable. ( looks like I will have to purchase this one) I saw Bag Of Bones on DVD at our local video store...I thought that was pretty neat!!

The Rum Diary, thought it was fantastic and highly recommend for any Hunter S. Thompson fans out there. Heck even for those who are not...may turn you into one. The movie is based on an older novel of Thompson's that he wrote when he was in his early 20's. So it is a great introduction to his world.

I was lucky to watch three great horror movies this weekend:

The Woman in Black (2012). It was awesome, probably, the first movie that managed to scare me in years. Actually, it was the first time when I saw the girls in the movies screaming with horror. And Daniel Radcliffe was good there, I even forgot that he was the famous Harry Potter

The Awakening. I decided to rewatch it, this time in the original. I still think that it is a very quality movie, worth watching, maybe even not once.

Incidious. Another great horror movie. Perfect beginning, scary ending... in the middle the movie got a little bit dragged out, but, apart from it, I liked the movie very much. And it was really scary.
