Just Like Heaven. Nice movie. Very funny and dramatic at the same time. I loved it.

Underworld: Awakening - Kate Beckinsale in tight leather. Again.
Coriolanus - culture in a modern setting. Great performances. Not very cheerful.
The Sitter - poor "comedy" for Jonah Hill fans only.
The Descendants - excellent drama: deserves Oscar noms.
Like Crazy - tedious and dull romantic drama.
I watched Rango last night (yes, I still watch cartoons). It wasn't too shabby. It had more adult themes than I had expected coming from Nickelodeon.
I guess I would give it a thumbs up.
Well, after finally giving in and watching Underworld and Underworld: Evolution... I got to say that I liked the movies. I've never really been much for vampires (as I've said on here before), but I was entertained. A bunch of action scenes and Kate Beckinsale dressed in black leather made for a much better viewing experience than I was expecting.
I guess I'll have to watch the other two Underworld movies eventually.
The Grey - atmospheric and visceral Liam Neeson wolves/snow thriller, but a bit inconsequential
Chronicle - found footage superhero original, well done and effective
Jack And Jill - horrible Adam Sandler "comedy"
Young Adult - excellent perforamces from Charlize Theron and Patton Oswalt in Diablo (Juno) Cody script which leaves you thinking "What was the point of that?"
In the middle of the entire Harry Potter collection.
I watched Contagion. I know a lot of people on the board didn't like it for whatever reasons, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was interesting and pretty realistic (then again, what the hell do I know about the CDC and pandemics?).
Also watched Ghoulies 2, a horror movie from my childhood, made in the eighties. It was terrible. I must have been an idiot as a child to have ever liked this garbage.
Puss in Boots. Nice cartoon. I found it to be not funny enough, especially compared to Shrek. But still, a very good and beautiful movie.
Man On A Ledge - no-brain suspense thriller caper movie
Srar Wars 1 3D - Jar Jar is still horrible in 3D
Gorky Park
An oldie but goodie that takes place in the Soviet Union and is about a soviet policeman (William Hurt) trying to solve a triple murder that he thinks may involve the KGB. He is treading dangerous ground trying to solve the murders.
They do something kind of cool in this movie with the Russian accents, they just ignore them. Instead of everyone attempting a bad Russian accent, they just act without that. Since everyone is speaking English anyway, why bother with the Russian accents?
