I watched "Stardust" with my kids. Actually a good movie, I was surprised. Went out and got the book (of course) can't wait to read to REAL story.

I LOVE that movie! I, too, was pleasantly surprised. I haven't read the book, but my daughter has. Depending on how old your kids are, you might want to read it before they do. My daughter said it has a sex scene in it.

Just saw Frontier(s) - French torture porn.

Looking forward to seeing The Day the Earth Stood Still. I don't remember who, but someone on this board said the first one was not very good. I beg to differ. It speaks for its time.

The book contains the single best use of the F word I have ever read.

Hehe Ms Mod... I figured maybe it was cause I used a name of a girl I said I dated in it... Although, Kristine Kochanski, was a character in the British novel/series Red Dwarf, that Lister was obsessed with for some reason.

But for whatever reason, I've always had a crush on her too. And not just her character, because she was kinda hot in the series, but her description in the book really. Lister was gonna retire in comfort when he married her and started his underwater farm on one of the moons of Saturn (Titan maybe?).

I watched Wall-E again last night. My favorite is when he's all alone, just working on earth. See! Evolution isn't flawed! If humans kill the planet with waste, we'll have robots and cockroaches taking the reigns of evolution, after we're gone! Sounds like a deal to me, that robot is still doing his cleaning job, 700 years after he was abandoned. He's a good robot. =o)
